                     I felt truly happy     was when
                we went to see the spring ephemerals
     bluebells, wakerobins, blue-eyed marys, trout lilies
  & you brought a basket & you plucked yourself such a
  wealth of them & deep down I disapproved but deeper
in the soil of me I knew delight in your profligate picking
